I want to understand YOUR way of taking quick notes into Obsidian
I set Markor on Android to edit a particular note on my phone, which is synced to my vault via Google Drive using Folder Sync.

Now you can use org-mode on your phone
This just seems like what I've been wanting. From the screenshots I understand that it's like Markor but for org-mode. A full editor instead of an outlier with some editing capabilities (like Orgzly, which I have been using it with few other companions like Orgro for it's superior navigation and narrowing features).

Ask HN: Why are there no good note taking apps
I use Markor Editor plus Syncthing. Markor is open-sourced and has a plethora of features, as you can read on their github page[1]; among these features, it includes file encryption.
Syncthing is really easy to set up and works like a charm. If you want accounts and user management, Markor also works with NextCloud.

best software/service for note-taking, idea dumping, and general spilling of my mind
https://github.com/gsantner/markor - cool thing! And on F-Droid! I looked for a simple editor that doesn't show ads & leak private info to 3rd parties and here it is!

Your favourite note taking+todo plugin and reason
Does anyone have a good solution for using any of the tools mentioned on this thread with mobile? I'm on Android and have experimented with VimWiki, Markor plus another service to sync, it's a bit convoluted though.
