YouTube to start blocking third-party apps that don't show ads
Can't recommend SmartTube enough: https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube
Includes crowdsourced sponsor block as well. The day YouTube goes the Twitch route and starts embedding ads is the day I stop using it. Literally unwatchable at this point without adblocking.

For adblock on YouTube you're gonna need SmartTube. The github page has guides for installing it. You can get help in r/SmartTubeNext or shoot me a DM if you're having trouble.

For the record, YT ads are not 5 second skipable
The one i use Is smarttube https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube apparently It doesn't work on roku, that's a shame! I'll replay again if i find something suitable
