No problem, if you need any other code examples for foundry I always point people to here as well. It's a curated list of exactly how to interact with most things in foundry. Much better than the documentation IMO.

Updates can also be a motivational issue, if it wasn't for the updating to v9 wiki someone put up I don't think I'd have had the time to go and figure out exactly what I needed to change for Deadlands Classic. My advice is to go dig through the fantastic wiki's that the League have setup and the fantastic code examples of Vance Cole, thanks to these I think I've only ever had to ask for help on the discord twice. Both times I was answered within half an hour and had the issue resolved. I literally only go there for tech support though and only as a last resort, I like a good puzzle.

That's how I always call it anyway. Best place I've ever found for macro tutorials is Vance Cole's github, full of files with macro examples for pretty much anything you'd want to do, just enough to get you started at least.

I was pointed to some excellent macros written by Vance Cole and pushed to GitHub, where I found Vance's Get Entities macro, a collection of snippets that access various types of data from other types. That was what I needed to craft my own version, which I have pushed to GitHub: Get_Entities.

If you want to learn how to code, and is used to make macros in roll20, may be Foundryvtt macros make the bridge. You can start making the same macros you made on roll20 in Foundry script macros, that's a way to start learning JavaScript. I never coded in JavaScript before Foundry, and it's been very educational. You can get the gist of it tinkering with the Community Macros that are available as a module pack. If you code at all, then Foundry jumps even higher up the recommendation list since it's designed intentionally to allow people to build stuff and add functionality. As someone who used to mess with R20 macros and their proprietary API, this is probably one of my favorite benefits to Foundry. They have some typical documentation though if you prefer examples the community macros repo is great for that.

Read some of the shorter/simpler macros from https://github.com/foundry-vtt-community/macros to get a sense of how they work.

This macro in the FoundryVTT Community Macros GitHub repository "selects all actors of the same name on the scene." I haven't tested it, but these macros have never given me issues in the past, and I recommend checking out that repo if there's ever something you're looking for.

Quick size control (#2) is generally handled by macros. There's a macro for quickly swapping tokens between 1x1 and 2x2 in the community macros. If you want some that will just bump a token up or down 1 grid size, I can get you mine personal ones in a bit when I'm at my main computer/
