What is Custom node in 3D gizmo plugins
If you want an in-game gizmo, you might have to use a mesh instance with a 3d model or procedurally generate a mesh. And maybe an unshaded material + hiding shadows. Here is an example of how you can draw stuff in 3d. I mostly use it for visualizing velocities and line of sight stuff.
