Conquest of Go
Sabaki is an open source SGF editor, and therefore free. It's elegant, it can be customized with themes like Hikaru no Go, and you can also install open source AI engines like KataGo.

OGS theme: Hikaru
This is an anime skin for OGS, similar to my Sabaki theme. It uses TamperMonkey to replace the glass stone & kaya board with the Hikaru equivalents. You need to be signed in to OGS for the script to work properly (sorry).

Installing Themes for Sabaki on Linux?
So running sabaki on windows I really love this theme https://github.com/upsided/Upsided-Sabaki-Themes and i can install it quite simply by going to Preferences > Themes > Install Theme > Navigate to the folder > open and bam theme is working. I installed sabaki on my arch based linux distro and when i go through the same process i get just a simple error message that says "Installation Failed" Anyone have any ideas as to what is different in regards to sabaki running on linux?

After AI beat them, professional Go players got better and more creative
OGS is the closest thing I’ve found to lichess but it’s quite good! https://online-go.com/

Awfull experience with learning Go
That's nuts. I'll be honest online-go.com is my least favorite server to play on. Unfortunately it's one of the only ones that doesn't require software installation so it's easy to recommend to new players.

In Two Moves, AlphaGo and Lee Sedol Redefined the Future (2016)
In 2016, I thought I'd give up on playing Go, seeing that our tree searching overlords beat us in every which way. Funny thing is, I'm playing a game right now [1].

Gomoku.com / Site
Hey guys, I own Gomoku.com domain and the site (currently down) very similar to https://online-go.com/ I no longer have the time to maintain or try to grow it, if anyone is interested taking it over let me know!

-
What platform is best to play Go online?
https://online-go.com/ is the most popular English server, called OGS. It's pretty good.

How is your experience playing Go Online
OGS is open source, anyone can contribute to their github repository and it's in need of developers - almost 200 open issues. It's likely easier to gain traction and more beneficial to the go community compared to starting from scratch.
-
I’m completely new to this-like 3 hours new. What do I do?
OGS probably has the largest pool of English-speaking beginners. https://online-go.com/ It's a web app, so it's very easy to get signed up and playing.

First win against an AI
Also, I'd suggest trying to switch to human players pretty soon (online-go.com is the place to be for that), AIs and weak AIs will play with a lot of strange and bad moves, and playing against too many of them might give you bad habits.
