[Tip] a temporary fix for the known Unc0ver ( sudden reboot ) issue while playing games or browsing safari.

Are you aware of (more) "pseudo open source" applications?
There was an iOS jailbreak called unc0ver that was open source but then they decided that it wouldn't be anymore. But they kept publishing releases on the GitHub repository where the README said the project was open source. Unfortunately for me, I didn't notice this until I had bought a phone thinking I could jailbreak it using an open source jailbreak (The phone was really cheap though, so it doesn't actually matter much.).

It’s not only you who got this panic and reboot issues, there are some others who actually do have this sort of issue and it’s related to Unc0ver not Fugu14. Here are some including me: Isuue no.1 issue no.2 issue no.3 And many others is this subreddit have complained about this exact problem and no answers have been filled.

Are you sure about that? It is true you can download up to v5.2.0 from the github here, but I believe pwn switched to using unc0ver.dev after that.

iOS Guide suggests using v1.4.1 of Odyssey, so you might have better luck there. Here is the ipa.

[help] trying to jailbreak my iPhone11 13.3 on unc0ver 6.2.0 and every time I reach 28/31 I get this.
Many people on iOS 13 have issues with the latest unc0ver, you should try v5.3.1 found here. You could also try Odyssey which is an alternative to unc0ver for iOS 13. The latest version is v1.4.0 but some people have had issues using the ipa so I recommend v1.3.3 here.

[Question] What is this icon representing? A jailbreak tool or smth?
Odyssey is open source and seems to be almost entirely coded in swift. Tweaks are usually obj c and more recently, swift. I’ve heard swift is pretty similar to c, but I wouldn’t know, I’m not a developer haha

[Question] Is Odyssey still open-source?
The GitHub repo hasn’t been properly updated since version 1.1.2. The most recent release as of today is 1.3.0. This is even reflected in the release section on GitHub where change logs have been posted for each release, but no code has been updated. Is Odyssey still open-source or has it become closed source like Unc0ver? Additionally, is Electra still open-source? I know that Chimera never was, but I remember hearing about bootstrap changes to Electra at some point recently but can’t find any repositories that have been updated in the last couple years.
