Cant get plugins to work
you also need https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases/download/x64-latest/bink2w64-x64.zip place dll into content folder AFTER renaming original bink2w64.dll to bink2w64Hooked.dll

PSA: If your gamepass version wont start after updating ASI loader, check your plugins.
Updated the ASI Loader from github but the game refused to load. Turns out my achievement enabler plugin was causing the issue, once disabled everything is working as normal. I was using this one.

Any news on the Ultimate ASI loader and Silent patch WINE compatibility?
So I got GTA 3 to run on WINE successfuly. Next stop is getting ASI patches to load, but I've hit a bit of a wall here. Naming the Ultimate ASI loader to dinput8.dll and setting WINE to use that DLL gets me the following message "Unable to load SilentPatchIII.asi: Error 998". Closest thing to the topic I've found is this thread: https://github.com/thirteenag/ultimate-asi-loader/issues/12, but doesn't look like that got anywhere either. Since it's from 2020, i figured to ask - has anyone got this to work since?

Finally Got the game running !
You are welcome. In general if you recieve message to use launchgtaiv.exe it means that XLivelessAddon is not loading for some reason. Reinstall it and maybe update Ultimate ASI Loader - Ultimate-ASI-Loader.zip unpack and rename as xlive.dll https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases/tag/v4.68

With that said, if they are not the same, check if you are able to rename one of them into something else. The Ultimate ASI Loader, for example, allows you to rename it into any of the ones listed in the link.

Just got the gta 4 complete edition on steam but the cutscenes are zoomed in. How do I fix this?

14 years and this game still looks good (No mods)
I highly recommend using the newest version of ThirteenAG‘s Fusion Fix. It offers options to completely disable the green/orange tint, enables console gamma (less washed out colors), and also gives you the option to enable FXAA. Everything is neatly incorporated into the game‘s menus and works flawlessly with the latest version of GTA IV, no downgrade required.

gta 4 cutscenes dont work
I use Rivatuner statistics server. It's an app that can limit FPS and has an overlay for games where it shows FPS in corner. It can limit FPS to 1 if you want to. I'd recommend you to install FusionFix since it fixes a lot of issues related to FPS as well as some cutscene tweaks which might fix your issue. https://github.com/ThirteenAG/GTAIV.EFLC.FusionFix
