I just saw this in another thread https://github.com/DevilXD/TwitchDropsMiner. If I had know about it I would have given it a go, maybe you should. Staying up so late for us Aussies sucks

I've been trying to login to twitch using this GitHub software to auto-mine twitch drops.

Let me introduce you to this little software. It mines automatically without any bandwidth and it also automatically claims the drops. You can make it turn on with your computer so you never have to care about a twitch drop ever again.

There is a simple python implementation of Bitcoin mining here: https://github.com/jgarzik/pyminer/tree/master but the bitcoin node "getwork" method has been replaced with "getblocktemplate" so you'd have to do a small change if you wanted to run this. It should be good enough to get you started though.
