Similar Games to The Legend of Zelda of 1986?
There's an open source LoZ-inspired game for the Godot engine being worked on called Tetra Force. I haven't checked it out lately to see how far along they are, but it might be something to look out for.

Git is simply too hard
'Oh my Git'[1] gets close, but didn't allow you to run it on arbitrary repositories last time I looked (last year).
