Smoke detectors? Which one!
This is definitely something you can do in Home Assistant with the Nest Protect integration in HACS. I have it set to notify nearby relatives by SMS if smoke is detected while I'm away on vacation. Obviously this is only helpful if you're using HA.
- How do I get my Google Doorbell (battery) to turn on a lamp that is plugged into a smart plug whenever it detects anything on its motion sensor?
