TecoGAN VS default-shader-pack

Hi, so I have a large collection of World War Two Film that I'd like to restore and I've become stumped on a few basic questions. So I already actually have model in mind which is TecoGAN . So would this be a good place to start? Lastly I specifically have a large issue with Film Scratches/Dust would training an AI model to recognize and retouch/handle the frames which have the most artifacts be a feasible task?

As long as you don't have a profile applied it should not override anything. Otherwise it will set several settings and override the shaders you have specified in your mpv configuration. The default profiles are defined here, which you can edit if desired.

If you use the MPV Shim client, I have included some video upscale shaders, which you can turn on. You can turn it on by pressing c and using the menu to select a video playback profile. Sometimes there are problems related to graphics card support, which breaks video playback entirely if you're unlucky. You can disable them with k if video playback breaks.
