TMDL Guide?
If you want to try it out, the easiest option is to get Tabular Editor 2: https://github.com/TabularEditor/TabularEditor/releases/tag/2.18.1

Restrict data to certain columns? Why can't I just turn off "show data point as table"???
You can define object-level security (OLS) to secure columns or tables in a similar manner to RLS. This will require using Tabular Editor (also [available as Tabular Editor 3, a commercially supported product) or some other external tool, as PBID does not yet support editing OLS.
- Recreating SSAS OLAP Cube to PowerBI dataset
- Anyone using this tool named Tabular Editor 3? Or anything similar? Seems like it's pretty tempting...
- Is there a version controller for power bI where report developers can do parallel development??

Thing you wish you knew from the start
If you actually have 300+ measures in your model, you should really try using Tabular Editor to replace some of those measures with a Calculation Group.
-
Datasets vs. Dataflows
Look into using Perspectives to handle different views of the same single Golden dataset for different departments. You'll need to use Tabular Editor to create them, but you need to use it for so many other things too like applying best practices.

Best practice for 2 people to work on same power BI file?
Use Power BI Premium Per User if you can afford. This allows you to use the Tabular Editor tool . There some posts from Reddit users who aggressively support this approach for GIT controlling the "Dataset only PBIX". You work with the underlying model file directly.

Home Table for measures
There are two versions. Tabular Editor 2 is free, Tabular Editor 3 is commercial:

Ask HN: Interesting TUIs (text user interfaces), maybe forgotten ones?
As someone who writes software for moderately boring business operations, I've been wondering making terminal-based apps with lots of keyboard shortcuts would lead to a more productive end user than writing a web app.
I've been looking at https://github.com/gui-cs/Terminal.Gui but haven't tried it yet.
- Forget MAUI; Get TUI! - C#'s best cross platform console UI toolkit ships first 2.0 alpha package (Terminal.Gui)

Hello everyone, I made a Windows 10/11 Multitool app with Winforms. I'm just gonna share some screenshots.

UI framework for games on Linux with c#
In that case you can use console (https://github.com/gui-cs/Terminal.Gui) to make games.

Managing Powershell collections graphically
As you can see the tool is always integrated into the terminal because it has built on a cross platform UI toolkit based on a fantastic open source project called Terminal.Gui. Now you can select the objects by using space bar and than confirm the selection with enter. The result will be:

What python/C# GUI library would be best for my project?
C# - https://github.com/gui-cs/Terminal.Gui
-
c# native with a gui
Since you mentioned minimal GUI, have you thought of a TUI? I haven't spiked it out but I would guess Terminal.Gui would work with Native AOT
