have you tried SylphyHorn [0]? there is a variant working on windows11, too. I use it daily, because I was missing exactly this functionality. But it also has other nice shortcuts, too.

I'm the author of AltTab (https://alt-tab-macos.netlify.app/), a popular window switcher for macOS, imitating Windows famous alt+tab shortcut. I know for a fact how hard it is to implement what you did. It looks very nice, well done!
I see you ran into the issue of not being able to detect windows from other Spaces. Apple introduced it in macOS 12.2. If you're curious, you can see the vast efforts we've deployed trying to find a workaround: https://github.com/lwouis/alt-tab-macos/issues/1324

macOS Bartender Auto-Update Signed by Unknown New Owner
Rectangle user for years, great app. Today I got frustrated enough to find AltTab (https://alt-tab-macos.netlify.app/), huge improvement to my workflow already.
Sometimes when cmd+tab'ing between apps it'll bring the selected window to the foreground, and sometimes it won't. They'll regain focus for typing, but are hidden behind another window for whatever reason. Fully open windows too, not minimized or anything. Was driving me mad having to click between IntelliJ and Chrome hundreds of times while doing web UI work instead of quick switching with the keyboard.
