I worked on a chatbot interface using SwiftUI for my previous job, I can semi-recommend this as a starting point: https://github.com/EnesKaraosman/SwiftyChat
There were several issues that arose from underlying changes made in SwiftUI between iOS 13 and 14.
You can always use UIViewRepresentable as an "escape hatch", but it invariably adds some complexity.

I think we should make a brainstorming session and build a service on top of NANO that can be trusted by regular people.
Shameless self-plug: I've been building a Matrix client for iOS (and eventually macOS) and have been playing around with the idea of integrating a custom message type specifically for sending Nano. Something along the lines of how Apple Pay Cash works for quickly sending money to contacts in iMessage. I haven't thought about it in great detail yet, but what you propose regarding payment requests, verification on the other end and sending payment sounds fantastic. I don't want to get any hopes up, my client Nio is still very much in its alpha phase, but this sounds to useful to pass up.
What are some alternatives?
