the main avenue to apply is through online applications. Last year, there was a list maintained here. The list for this year is here. You'll also be able to find opportunities on linkedin & handshake. Generally, employers don't give a shit about cover letters.

For example, for Fall 2023, when do most of the postings come out? On https://github.com/bsovs/Fall2023-Internships there are not many postings still. So did most of them already come out and this repo is not updated? If not, are they coming out in May? June? July? August?

Innovation Academy students have fall term off and with that comes its biggest disadvantage and advantage for us CS students, I will just provide you with the GitHub for internships for fall of last year summer of this year (the difference in the number of internships is staggering). Where summer internships win by a long shot in numbers but the competition will be down during fall as most people are at school then. Other than missing football games these are the only disadvantages of the program. Where then you can use this fall time if you do manage to get an internship it's big money and experience or just have a really extended vacation as fall is longer than summer.
