Question: Why can't I read a very large zip file (close 1 million files/entries) with async_zip crate?
Have you tried other crates, like https://github.com/rust-compress/rc-zip ?

rc-zip looks appealing but it doesn't work on webassembly yet. https://github.com/rust-compress/rc-zip/issues/16
