Good news. You can patch the .exe to accept any checksum as valid for achievements - since Paradox so rarely fixes issues that the community is plagued by.

Open Source board game session tracking and achievement app
This app allows you to track your board games sessions, add session markdown templates and create, import/export achievement sets for your games. There are still some bugs here and there and some features are still missing.
