SteamDeck-RefreshRateUnlocker VS NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck

Install SteamDeck RefreshRateUnlocker and reboot ( I installed the full FPS range, 30-70). Set the game's refresh rate to 70 (Not 35) and the GPU clock to 1600.

I've been playing with the 70hz mod: https://github.com/ryanrudolfoba/SteamDeck-RefreshRateUnlocker It works great for 70hz on old games of course, but I think even better is locking to 35 for newer games. Of course, whether you agree or not is subjective, but personally i've been really impressed with performance and clarity in many games when using it this way.

I used this script to allow a lower screen refresh rate of 30hz. That with a 30fps cap feels buttery smooth and saves power by allowing lower TDP settings to reach the reduced refresh.

May not be as popular as heroic but I use nonsteamlauncher ( https://github.com/moraroy/NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck ) and it works fine for me. Follow the instructions or youtube it and its pretty straight forward. Other users have mentioned you will be adding GOG to your steam library (you can just right-click from the desktop mode in the applications area now and select add-to steam) Then you'll go back in to steam mode and launch GOG from there. then it works as normal. Can't attest to cloud saves but since you are just running GOG I'd HOPE it worked, even if you don't need it others may.

Use this utility and install Uplay as a non steam game. You can download all Uplay games there and start them via the launcher.
