SpotMicroESP32
My take on a SpotMicro with an optimized design for supportfree 3D-printing. It utilizes an ESP32-DevKitC for the low-level control of the electronics. The heavy computation will be made by external devices, which in return have the power to command the robot. (by michaelkubina)

By moving the battery pack forward, you can make the popular SpotMicro design balance much better. We had trouble getting it to do standing/walking because the center of mass was far to the back.
Our work was based on (SpotMicro)[https://github.com/michaelkubina/SpotMicroESP32] and (Rex Gym)[https://github.com/nicrusso7/rex-gym]. Our GitHub is (here)[https://github.com/LSaldyt/laser-dog]

Shoot Paintballs With Boston Dynamics' Robot Spot
> So I would be very surprised if nobody had combined them yet. In that sense, I think it is very good that MSCHF is bringing more attention to it. The sooner we start talking about laws to govern this tech, the lower the chance of it ending up in the wrong hands.
You can make your own, real, personal open-sourced DIY micro version of Boston Dynamics' Robot Spot for well under $600. The design is actually very refined and the documentation is impressive. So, it is not like this is not extremely scalable and could not get out of hand quickly.
