Developers: If you are making a plugin for your server, do you prefer keeping everything in a single/few plugins, or do you split up everything in multiple plugins?

Server starts to die at 9 members and lag extremely a lot when only 7 are on
I'd recommend dropping the simulation distance and render distance and read up on this. Chunk loading is one of the most resource-intensive parts for the server - perhaps even the most.
