Fixed the lack of glyphs in the system HUDs
This is awesome! I'm curious if this is inspired by SlimHUD at all? It's another project which I believe was shared here some time ago. Your tool has several of the same features, but I do appreciate the extra polish and integration with Music here.

Is there a way to change the volume icon size?
There is this free app SlimHUD, which I have not tested, but it seems to do the job.

Custom volume HUDs
I've created this app to replace that: SlimHUD

Disable Volume/Brightness Overlay - MacOS Big Sur
Right now, I'm using an app called SlimHUD to get a nicer, iOS-ish volume indicator. The only issue is that the dev hasn't found a way to get rid of the default overlay.

Replacement for MacOS' volume, brightness and keyboard backlight HUDs.
Checking out the app, there is an option to put the bar horizontally either in the bottom or the top of the screen.

MonitorControl VS DisplayBuddyPages - a user suggested alternative

DisplayBuddy lets you control external displays directly from your Mac - no need to touch those clunky monitor buttons. - Control your monitor’s **brightness** & **contrast** directly from your Mac **menu bar**. - Control the **volume** for monitors with **built-in speakers**. - Switch **monitor inputs** (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C etc) directly from the app, and even directly power off displays. - Full support for **Apple Silicon** (M1 & M2) and **Intel** Macs. - Effortlessly **manage multiple displays** with ease & even **sync** **controls** across them. - Save settings across displays as **Presets**, and activate them later with a single click! - Looks great in both **Light** & **Dark** modes. DisplayBuddy has the features of MonitorControl, plus: - Change Display Inputs - Turn off display - Presets - Supports shortcuts on Mac - Supports Siri - Control display resolution - Brightness Sync (Monitor control has it, but only with built-in display)
What are some alternatives?
