- Does SEAD actually suppress enemy SAMs?

SAM Site Radar distance to launchers
What we’re missing in DCS is an integrated defense system, with ew radars and other systems all communicating. Skynet IADS can do a lot of this. Haven’t tried their newer versions yet, though.
- Skynet IADS 3.1.0 released
-
SAM Operators knowing there is no way to escape or stop an AGM-88 HARM.
Reasons to use Skynet-IADS.
- Skynet Only for the Syria Map

Skynet IADS 3.0.0 has been released
It features an improved HARM defence for the IADS: Read all about it here: https://github.com/walder/Skynet-IADS/releases/tag/3.0.0

About all that AI...
One of the more impressive if niche example of this is the Skynet IADS air defense system in DCS. But this works precisely because a lot of thought by the developers and real military developers has been put into how to automate this system over the decades and it’s narrowly focused on a very specific set of discrete actions. https://github.com/walder/Skynet-IADS

I think the Mission Editor in Dcs needs more attention by Ed.
Would love to see ME support for some of the most useful third party scripting systems like MOOSE and Skynet/IADS. This wouldn't have to be specific to those systems, it could just be better standardization of DCS interfaces that those systems connect to and the ME lets you call.
- Confirmation that the aircraft shot down over Kharkiv last night was a Su-34
- We need some bigger HARM's for this. (S-500)

- What do you expect from Falcon 5.0 , given that Microprose now more or less confirmed a new game is on the horizon?

How does dcs bios work/how do I use it?
I've been working with DCS BIOS quite a bit recently and may be able to answer some of these. First, make sure you're using the Flightpanels fork of DCS BIOS and not the original DCS BIOS. The Flightpanels fork is up to date, while the original has not been updated in a couple years.
What are some alternatives?
dcs_liberation - DCS World single-player liberation dynamic campaign. [Moved to: https://github.com/dcs-liberation/dcs_liberation]
DCSFlightpanels - Saitek/Logitech Flight Panels & Stream Deck support for DCS-World. DCSFlightpanels also functions as a key-emulator for any game e.g. Flaming Cliff Series, Elite Dangerous, War Thunder, IL-2. Click "Releases" link below for latest release.
dcs-bios - DCS-BIOS DCS-Skunkworks Fork
FOXTracker - Facial Head Pose Tracker for Gaming
HighDigitSAMs - A simple, IC-compliant mod for DCS to add more modern SAM systems to the game.
dcs-input-command-injector - DCS Mod to add custom input commands in your user profile instead of by modding the game for each aircraft. Prevents commands from being lost when DCS updates.
DCS-JTACAutoLaze - Auto lazes targets in DCS
MOOSE - Mission Object Oriented Scripting Environment (MOOSE) for lua mission scripting design in DCS World
