Terraria not loading world [STEAM]

This is true especially for the Deck
That's what protonfixes included in proton ge builds do and lutris install scripts they add fixes and winetricks dlls to get games running without extra tweaking. https://github.com/simons-public/protonfixes

Arkham Asylum works flawlessly with Proton GE on Steam Deck
One of the more important parts of proton GE is that incorporates protonfixes this will automatically install dependencies e.g like the direct x 43 complier in Batman Arkhams case. I think the game does a check for the dll and throws error, these dlls are not something valve can legally include but the end user can download and install themselves.

So, what actually are the differences between main fork Proton and the GE fork?
The biggest difference is they have built in the protonfixes library this automates installing missing dlls other settings using proton tricks.
