What CAD softwares do you use and why?
KiCAD, FreeCAD, openFoam if I need do do any fluid stuff. For personal SI experiments, there is a new open-source python tool by teledyne, also here that can get schematic-based EM done fairly well.

Does round-trip efficiency also reduce capacity ?!
Also found this amazing PyBamm in depth battery simulator. Kinda of surprised its has never been posted here.

We Downloaded 10,000,000 Jupyter Notebooks From Github – This Is What We Learned
But that's primitive stuff, of course. There are some really cool things like battery behaviour modelling that actively use programming in electrochemistry (PyBAMM), yet as much as I want to, I consider myself too thick to understand the math behind this.
