Onion VS dosbox-pure

Let me clarify the situation : 1. I bought Miyoo Mini V2 from the official store in Ali Express 2. Received and went straight away update the official firmware, here 3. Figuring out why it won't update ( miyoo283_fw.img ) 4. Turn out the Miyoo Mini V2 already come with the latest firmware 5. Play the games for a while, everything is working fine. 6. Proceed to install Onion OS, here 7. Onion OS 3.12.3 installed 8. Sound in menu is all fine, but nothing when it come to emu 9. Tried to change the Audio inside Retroarch (to SDL or the other one), making sure the volume rocker is turn to max, and no mute button checked. 10. Nothing work so far.

Git discussions are gone mate as we ended up with far too many places that need monitoring. Since the new github the issue logging has had an overhaul and we are asking people to discuss 'feature reqs' on either the discord or here on reddit (guidance and links are available when you hit the 'new issue' button on the new github).

The Wiki / Installer may well be wrong, I'm not sure who wrote this piece and I'm not personally familiar with either Palm or N-Gage emulation but mistakes can happen and if something is incorrect, we will gladly correct it. If you are confident there is a mistake you can report issues here.

OP. Look into DOSBox Pure. I have seen it for MAC. I don't have a MAC but i did get games to work on handhelds. Try this link for starters

You can run Windows on Retroarch with the latest version of the DOSBox Pure core. I believe that is what OP is doing as I don't know of any other way to run Windows under Retroarch.

You can grab the newest arm7 build from https://github.com/schellingb/dosbox-pure/releases/tag/0.9.7 and replace the core with the newest version in the retroarch folder on Miyoo. I tested it with the previous build 0.9.6 and it works perfectly on the Miyoo (the new build, not Windows 95 - https://www.reddit.com/r/MiyooMini/comments/vmxt12/testing_fallout_1windows_98_on_miyoo_mini_nope/ )
