For Mu, I'd suggest starting here (scroll down to 'running' section), it seems that some specific 'Bios' roms are needed. I would suggest that when they say files are to be placed in the RetroArch system folder, you would need to put them in the BIOS folder (since this is the Onion equivalent).
The Wiki / Installer may well be wrong, I'm not sure who wrote this piece and I'm not personally familiar with either Palm or N-Gage emulation but mistakes can happen and if something is incorrect, we will gladly correct it. If you are confident there is a mistake you can report issues here.
