Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

7840HS benchmarked at various TDP
Out of curiousity how the 7840HS performs at different TDP, I did some benchmarks using Geekbench 6.2.0. To change the TDP, I've used the software RyzenAdj like so:

AMD Ryzen 7 7840U Performance Benchmarks on Linux
A few years ago I did a bunch of poking w/ a 4800H, you can see the actual mechanics of using RyzenAdj. There are also Geekbench 5 benchmarks linked from the doc at different power limits which you can compare to 4800U devices on Geekbench's site: https://github.com/lhl/linuxlaptops/wiki/2020-MECHREVO-Code-...
Note, each laptop manufacturer may choose their different power limits (and like Intel, AMD's curves are largely driven by temperature, so dependent on cooling solution and other settings).
This is a good summary of some of how Ryzen Mobile's power limiting works (actually, read that whole wiki if you're interested in the topic): https://github.com/FlyGoat/RyzenAdj/wiki/Renoir-Tuning-Guide
I'd also look up "AMD PMF" (their equivalent of DPTF) which only recently made it's way to the Linux kernel (but of course, that will include loads of details anyone can look through): https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-PMF-CnQF-Linux-6.1

30-32C temps and 7-9+ hr battery life after G-Helper and Power Tweaks. I love this laptop. 2022 6900HS/6700S
That app just uses (under the hood) this one https://github.com/FlyGoat/RyzenAdj - g-helper not using that , as it requires admin rights to run :)

My Laptop System Model: Nitro AN515-45 , Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H , GPU: 3060 whenever i play high graphics game the temperature stays at constant 90-91 , Does not matter if i change game settings to lower graphics or change fan speed or power plan .
i have used Ryzen Controller and it only worked for the first time when i set the temp to 85 . After that it is not working . I did some search someone said Ryzen controller does not always work and they gave an ulternative : Releases · JamesCJ60/AMD-APU-Tuning-Utility (github.com)

Why Is My Score So Insanely Low?(Corsair Voyager a1600)
I have a laptop with somewhat similar specs (8C/16T Ryzen 7 6800H on HP Omen 16) and can see similar scores if I hard limit my CPU temp to 50C celsius, I'd recommend using AMD APU Tuning Utility, on custom presets you could try checking Temp limit close to 85C, PL0 30W, PL1 50W, PL2 65W, and clock optimizer check Curve optimizer settings: All core: -25. If you try again R23 multicore with that settings I´m sure you will see a big difference.

How to limit temps in Dell G5 15 SE
Use AATU. It was recommended by Ryzen Controller guys before that got deprecated. You can limit temps and set power preset for performance. Works better than Ryzen Contoller for me. https://amdaputuningutility.com/
What are some alternatives?

atrofac - A library and a command line application to control the power plan, and the fan curve (CPU & GPU) of Asus Zephyrus G14 devices (might also work with other devices that use the Armoury Crate Service). Fanless mode is possible as long as the GPU & CPU temperatures are not too hot (even on battery).
