ok here you go. this vkbasalt config isn't to make totk looks like its being deep fried or anything, i only wanted to make the visuals a bit clearer, sharper and more vibrant. i dont want to overdone anything but feel free to change the config files if you are so inclined

Ryujinx already making TOTK specific patches.
They even have a compatibility issue open on their Github.

Which N64 emulator do you consider best: Project64 or Mupen64Plus?
M64P is an easy packaging of Mupen64Plus that comes with a GUI frontend, configured plugins, etc. Mupen64Plus is the emulator itself.

Upscaling Games
In Launchbox you can add additional emulators (so when you right-click a game, you can launch it with a different emulator) for any platform. You can download Project64 and M64P and experiment with them.

TIL that Goldeneye 007 was almost released as a 2D game for Super NES but during its creation, development of the game eventually shifted to the newer Nintendo 64 game console.
