Help with mocking?
Doing testing right is about making sure a system works when running. Also tests should not break constantly upon code changes. I've over the years been an avid test advocate and used moq. But slowly I appreciate more higher level tests since they are more robust and verify all the spinning cogwheels in motion.. not in isolation. To help me I wrote https://github.com/kbilsted/ReassureTest.Net

Effective testing of Software applications
nice read. what are your thoughts on this library https://github.com/kbilsted/ReassureTest.Net attempting at autogenerating much of the test code and allowing for fuzzy matching?

Crafting Interpreters is available in print
I'm writing an interpreter for object graphs and, their mutation and their traversal. The goal is making testing easier, faster and more fun. Perhaps the language and the way the interpreter works is of interest to you :-) https://github.com/kbilsted/ReassureTest.Net since the grammar is partly handled in the tokenizer and in the parser, the tokenizer is really simple

Fluent Assertions: Fluently Assert the Result of .NET Tests
This library extends the traditional assertions provided by frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, or XUnit by offering a more extensive set of extension methods. Fluent Assertions supports a wide range of types like collections, strings, and objects and even allows for more advanced assertions like throwing exceptions.

Test-Driven Development
Use a testing framework: Utilize a testing framework like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest to create, organize, and run your tests. These frameworks provide a consistent way to write tests, generate test reports, and integrate with continuous integration tools.

NUnit vs. XUnit vs. MSTest: Comparing Unit Testing Frameworks In C#
MSTest is the default test framework that is shipped along with Visual Studio. The initial version of MSTest (V1) was not open-source; however, MSTest V2 is open-source. The project is hosted on GitHub. Like other test frameworks, it can also be used for data driven testing. You can download MSTest V2 from Nuget.org.
