My first React Native app - helps people to find the best place to put their subwoofer
I used this example as a reference for how to do the animations. It places Animated.View elements off-screen and uses translate to bring them into view. They're all driven by one Animated.Value "controller" and each element uses interpolate() to map the controller values to x or y values. Each onboarding screen has a different value range (e.g. 0-1, 1-2).

Intro to React Native: Develop mobile apps
As I said earlier, using react native you can develop for any platform and not limited to mobile. But its not as easy as it sounds like. For desktop apps, React native Windows is used which is maintained by folks at Microsoft, and still in active development, so a lot of things might change. For VR app, ViroReact is used, which is again is in active development. So its development is not as convenient as expo, and for someone new to react native, i won't suggest going that route. But once you are experienced, not one is stopping you and these are great technologies to develop native apps.

What to do you use for your AR projects?
I have googled and found a few libraries regarding AR/VR for react native. It seems to me that viro media has: https://github.com/ViroCommunity/viro and looks okay, but it seems that they haven't released anything in a while. I'm trying to create an AR app that is retail focused like this: https://imgur.com/a/tUMgu1W
