OK, so you had an older version of RSMods installed. Easy fix; head over to - https://github.com/Lovrom8/RSMods/releases - grab the latest release, install it - and (by the sounds of things) - run the "Add Direct Connect Mode" option again.

3) Check out RSMods for several quality-of-life updates the team couldn't afford to put in Rocksmith 2014, e.g. being able to name custom song lists, correct tuning names, etc.
