On Android, use S0undTV for Twitch to watch without ads. Another way is to use Firefox + ublock origin + YouTube as u/NotWokeEnough or Revanced/SmartTube as u/itissafedownstairs mentioned here

The New AppleTV App Update Is Trash
I picked up a fire tv stick (they are on sale for $30, $35 for the 4k max version which I got) sideloaded S0undTv and it's better than the official twitch app in pretty much every way. 3rd party emotes, chatting, multi view, vod chat, it's got it all. Highly recommend.
- Getting this error message on both Amazon Fire Stick 4K and Xbox Series S. I’ve been having this problem for two weeks now, is there a fix for it?
