Can we have lawnchair as the default home app?
I think it would be nice to add some kind of integrated quickswitch support for third party launchers (something like that). That way you could have them feel quite native and smooth. Right now you either stick with the stock which is fine, but does not offer a lot of customization, or you root your phone which defeats CalyxOS purpose...

What launcher do you use?
Once rooted, you'll need to grab the latest version of lawnchair 12.1 alpha here, and the latest version of quickswitch here.
- Screen blink/flash when closing apps. Does not occur when simply returning home. S22 Ultra running Lawnchair 2 launcher. Any ideas? (I figure it's Lawnchair but would like to fix and keep the launcher if I can)

Pixel Launcher Mod for non root?
If you don't mind the open/close animations being a bit less smooth then you can try nova or lawnchair. If you're willing to root though, I'd avoid pixel launcher mods altogether and check out quickswitch with Lawnchair 12.1.

Lawnchair 12.1 Alpha adds Android 12’s At a Glance widget, more improvements
If you are able to root, you can use QuickSwitch to make Lawnchair and most other launchers the source of the recent screens so animations are pixel perfect and smooth as the stock launcher. Currently doing it in Lineage 19.1 with Lawnchair 12.1.

Enable Pie Recents (Quickstep) for supported launchers
So without further ado I decided to root my phone and make use of this Magisk Module which enables the Pie Recents systemlessly for all supported launchers. I have been using the Lawnchair Launcher (Alpha) with the QuickSwitch module for quite some time now and everything feels performant and glitch-free.

[Request] Problem with 3rd party launcher and recent apps screen on Hi Reader Pro
I would like to use Lawnchair on my Hi Reader Pro, but whenever I set it to use a third party launcher (obviously I haven't tried them all, but I tried 5 or 6 with the same outcome) the "Recent Apps" (Square Button) stops working after a few uses. By that I mean: nothing happens when it's clicked.
