Power control in bios
You can also mess about with Power Control Panel V2, but not sure if that does actually change the TDP accurately. u/baldsealion have you used or heard much about PCPV2? https://github.com/project-sbc/Power-Control-Panel-v2 Not mentioned in the wiki but seems to be a useful tool. I was using it for TDP control stuff before Steam Deck Tools. Very user friendly

Ayaneo 2 without AyaSpace, my setup for Steam Big Picture mode with HandheldCompanion
Power Control Panel v2 (https://github.com/project-sbc/Power-Control-Panel-v2) Has more fine-grained power control than HandheldCompanion, e.g. can deactivate CPU cores Does not provide any other functionality than power control, so need more tools

How to set up Ayaneo 2 for usage with Steam Big Picture Mode / Gamepad UI?
Just searched for it. It's this, right: Power Control Panel v2

Auto TDP (ciphray’s new tool)
ProjectSBC's Control Panel v2: Not yet automatic, supports manual TDP modification. Unfortunately this code seems pretty thrown together and wouldn't be my go-to depending on how it evolves.
- Which tool for setting TDP would you recommend for the GPD Win Max 1 (Intel Version from 2021)
- Trackpad function mimicking and strategy games

[Laptop] ASUS VivoBook S 14X, 1800p 120Hz OLED, Ryzen 7 6800H CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD ($1400 - $400 = $1000) [Amazon]
You can use https://github.com/project-sbc/Power-Control-Panel-v2 to limit TDP if you're planning on using Windows over HoloISO/SteamOS.

Legion Go Update 12.08.23
Until the dev team fixes the gyro issues consider using Handheld Companion https://github.com/Valkirie/HandheldCompanion although you may need the Patreon version ($2.00 USD) for your Legion Go https://www.patreon.com/handheldcompanion/posts

Just got one. How long is battery off charger? Assuming 1.5-2 hours?
https://github.com/Valkirie/HandheldCompanion Might take a little bit to figure everything out(bind the Quick Tools to a back button or something first), but worth it, helps get a lot more out of the battery

Made a standalone DS4 emulator, now you can play emulators with motion control, and PS Remote official app also should work.
Update: PS Remote offcial app does not work: https://github.com/Valkirie/HandheldCompanion/issues/389, use Chiaki instead

How Many Weeks Does It Take To Fix The Simple Deadzone Issue?
This is an AC issue. As much as I like the Ally, asus really misses the mark when it comes to software. Check out handheld companion, i have the deadzones set at 2% and can finally navigate the desktop with decent precision. Also has access to the gyros, customizable hotkeys, power control (with autotdp), per game profiles, and built in rtss stats display. Only thing its missing is fan control - for which I use GHelper (single exe, you can close it once you set your fans up). Oh also its updated regularly.

Reconfiguring ayaneo home button
https://github.com/Valkirie/HandheldCompanion use this to emulate xbox360 controller and the aya button will be the Xbox button

Playnite is the way
Oh, yeah. I meant disabling “ARMOURY CRATE SE Service and Armoury Crate Control Interface” as listed on their GitHub: https://github.com/Valkirie/HandheldCompanion/wiki/ROG-Ally. Otherwise HC won’t work.
