[Discussion] TrollStore JIT enabler for apps
I’m trying to enable JIT in Play! emulator using Azula to patch the .ipa with TrollStoreJitEnabler, but it gives an error: “couldn’t copy dylib to workspace”. Azula is a mobile clone of Azule that should work on jailed devices (but it doesn’t atm), can someone jailbroken or with a Mac please try to patch it with Azule instead?

Ok so I've been trying to get guitar hero ps2 to work
there's an interesting project called "Play! emulator" tho https://purei.org/ Using HLE emulation (no bios and mimicking hardware, much better) and even modern rendering with vulkan... but... it's not ready yet for the average user yet (As of today only 37.34% of the compatibility list is labeled as "Playable", so those game run with minor issues or smoothly)

With the unfortunate news about AetherSX2
Consider also starting usingPlay! , it's not on par with the compatibility as Aether but hey it's ad-free at least for now, I hope and will get proper updates.

Play! (cross-platform PS2 emulator) rendering performance improvement report
The biggest problem of Play! is that it is impossible to Google it. The website's domain purei.org doesn't connect to Play! very well... Maybe the project needs a more unique name...

My phone isn't compatible with Aethersx2
Try "Play!". https://purei.org/

Yeah sounds about right
Did some searching and apparently apple doesn't allow emulators on the app store. Now, for PS2 emulators, Play! is the only one I know of that is developing for iOS.

Second, install the extracted files with HDL Batch Installer.

Will .bin and .cue files play in a modded PS2? (HDD, FMCB, OPL Manager)
OP, it's best to just leave the files as .bin and .cue and when copying the games over to HDD use HDL Batch Installer. This fine tool will automatically recognize those files as CD based PS2 games and will install them accordingly on the HDD so that they are playable over OPL.
-
ps2 i.s.o into which folder CD or DVD ?
Anyway, to transfer your games for normal OPL build, you must an installer like HDL Batch Installer. Don't worry about the CD/DVD media type thing, the installer will figure it out automatically.

Converting Games from FREEMCBOOT back to Image?
For Internal HDD it's going to be different. First you need a SATA/IDE to USB converter to hook up the drive into your notebook. Then using one of the HDL Dumx flavors. (I recommend HDL Batch Installer) to extract the games off the drive to your notebook.

Transfer games to HHD
HDL Batch Installer works a lot better and isn't too hard to figure out, and remember to not rely on YouTube videos because they might be outdated or have incorrect information

OPL no longer playing any ps2 games
There's a reason why this tool is not recommended to install your game, it's outdated and sometimes the games installed with it will broke one way or the other due to the tools does not conform with the SDK. Delete the games and reinstall it again with HDL Batch Installer/HDLBATCH.

OpenPS2Loader not loading games from internal HDD .-...
Don't use WinHIIP, it's outdated. Use HDL Batch Installer instead. But, replace the bundled HDL.EXE with this one: https://github.com/ps2homebrew/hdl-dump/releases/tag/v47 (Extract, rename hdl_dump.exe to HDL.EXE then overwrite the ones bundled with HDLBI).
