Tweaks-Anthology
The Tweaks Anthology is a WeiDU compilation of nearly 200 components of cosmetic changes, house rules, and other tweaks. Some of these were fan requests, others are needed changes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. For the better part of 20 years, I never knew about this doorway, let alone the NPC inside with unique dialog!

This (along with some additional steps which I'm not listing now) works for me in https://github.com/GraionDilach/Planescape-Torment-Voice-Pack-for-EE-2.6/releases (but I'm not ready completely now with this either, want to add everyone).

First modded game
The movement speed tweak from Tweaks Anthology, I'd definitely recommend. The way it works is, it's out-of-battle only, and it gives you a special ability to turn on/off the faster movement. So you can turn it off if you just want to walk normally. I'd recommend using the current Release Candidate version, as a number of things are improved from the official v9 release.
