How do I update Pirate Treasure Chest Wallet to 5.7.4 using linux?
I need to update my Treasure Chest wallet from 5.2.0 to 5.7.4. I'm only guessing that all I have to do is to go to pirate.black and download the new wallet. Once I download it I click extract and then I get a message saying "Replace File "Debian Binary"? "another file with the same name already exists in "/home/my name/downloads" and I have to choose whether to cancel, replace all, skip, or replace. I don't know which to choose. Could someone give me specific instructions on how to udate my wallet so I don't mess something up an lose my ARRR. I am not good at all with linux yet. Thanks.

What in the Ethereum application ecosystem excites me
However Monero has shortcomings, the main one being its auditability.
Some Monero developers have created a new project which tries to solve those issues, and add zero proof knowledge to the mix: https://pirate.black

Treasure Chest Wallet is not syncing
The other option would be doing it manually. You would do so by by using getblockhash and walking backward from the current block comparing the output to the explorer on pirate.black until you find a block that matches. Once you know what your first "bad" block is (the first one that does NOT match the explorer), you can then invalidateblock the first bad one, and reconsiderblock on the last common one.

Privacy in Crypto: Is Monero Still Top Dog?
“Arrr” : yes, like the pirate sound. Tech seems rock solid, the apps suck. When they put out good IOS app could blast off from current $1 price (was above $16 last year) https://pirate.black

What do you think about the statement that privacy is the Achilles heel of Ethereum?
Outside of Ethereum there is the Secret Network scrt.network that relies on computers having a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) so that any SC can have its own private key that stays private within the TEE.

Was Secret Network's AGPL status changed?
I noticed that the license file for Secret Network's Github repo https://github.com/scrtlabs/SecretNetwork/blob/master/LICENSE changed its last updated date to November 8, 2022. Also the license language doesn't appear to reflect that of the AGPL. I'm a little late to the party but I just noticed this.

Petals: Run 100B+ models at home bit-torrent style
This sounds (very narrowly) similar to the Enigma network, a blockchain-based technology that can be used for fully encrypted multi-party computation (MPC). It was one of the earlier blockchain projects that actually had an interesting use case and technology in this quite "overhyped" space. They rebranded to the Secret network [0] a few years back and somehow I don't find this use case/promise back nowadays...website screams all of the Web3 BS buzzwords it seems :(
