PartKeepr VS IHateToBudget

If you like the IT method of asset management, then Snipe-IT is what you want. If you want something more inventory-y and parts-y, then check out PartKeepr or Inventree.

Currently using PartKeepr: https://www.partkeepr.org/ locally on my Mac.

Follow the instructions for installing from git.

Maybe PartKeepr could be useful though it's more for electronic parts management.

FireflyIII and Invoice Ninja are as I can see the most popular ones but they seem a little bit complicated and more fit for small businesses. In fact it seems that the most Finance and Budgeting Applications are targeted for smaller businesses or freelancers. I did find a pretty simple one but I dont really like the UI of it (but it goes to the right direction): https://github.com/bminusl/ihatetobudget

It usually takes several weeks for the maintainer(s) to review your PR. This list is the main source of traction for my own self-crafted self-hosted money-tracking app IHateToBudget.

Either way, the models are quite simple and the database is a simple sqlite file. It's should be trivial to parse and insert data, either from within Django (similar to what I did here), or with a standalone script making direct queries to sqlite.
