Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

How do you guys do the inventory management?
Self hosting is certainly the way to go! I prefer partdb to partkeepr, though -- it has an easier to use interface.

Is there a simple inventory manager for home and not IT items?
I first tried Part-DB (https://github.com/Part-DB/Part-DB or the new version https://github.com/Part-DB/Part-DB-symfony still in beta) and I like it but there are still some features missing, like serialnumber support. Currently Iām testing InvenTree (https://github.com/inventree/InvenTree) which seems promising.

ā ļø Didn't think it was possible honestly but you can now search by veroboard size on PedalLayouts.com (formerly VeroboardMD). If you have a piece of veroboard you wanna use, dial in the size and your results will return only boards that can fit. š
