Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

I Witnessed the Future of AI, and It's a Broken Toy
> Rabbit has said the device will be able to learn any app, if you teach it.
We're building this over at https://github.com/OpenAdaptAI/OpenAdapt. OpenAdapt learns to automate tasks in desktop apps by observing human demonstrations.
Early demo: https://twitter.com/abrichr/status/1784307190062342237 (more coming soon!)
The demo is overly simplistic to keep it short -- it also works with arbitrary applications and operations.
Also, we're open source. Contributions and feedback are welcome and encouraged :)

Memary is a cutting-edge long-term memory system based on a knowledge graph
Very interesting, thank you for making this available!
At OpenAdapt (https://github.com/OpenAdaptAI/OpenAdapt) we are looking into using pm4py (https://github.com/pm4py) to extract a process graph from a recording of user actions.
I will look into this more closely. In the meantime, could the authors share their perspective on whether Memary could be useful here?

Ask HN: Freelancer? Seeking freelancer? (July 2023)
SEEKING FREELANCER | Remote / europe / netherlands
We're hiring for validate.buildingsmart.org
In the construction sector we've long communicated using drawings primarily. A recent trend is to communicate using semantic information models (Building Information Modelling). We're a vibrant open community (e.g https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/)
Data integrity, validation and trust are key concerns when exchanging such models. Under the umbrella of the main standardization organization in this field, we have been building validate.buildingsmart.org based on open source software for some time now. We've built quite a successful prototype to demonstrate feasibility and gather a first audience.
Now, we're looking to further develop the web platform and scale up for some exciting new features such as software application metrics and certification.
We're looking for a seasoned freelance/part-time dev. Affinity with AEC is not a prerequisite, but familiarity with some of the following things is: Django, cloud native, feature flagging platforms, Azure (databases, cli, auth, ...), Selenium or similar, k8s/terraform/portainer.

What tools or libraries are missing in rust?
The big thing that I want but haven't yet found is an IFC parser for BIM applications. As of right now, my best options are to either leave the ecosystem for C# (xbim toolkit) or integrate with C++ (ifcplusplus, ifcopenshell).
- Have any of you got BlenderBIM running on your M1 Mac?

CogVLM - a state-of-the-art-level open visual language model | 多模态预训练模型
ifcplusplus - IfcPlusPlus is an open source C++ class model, as well as a reader and writer for IFC files in STEP format. Features: Easy and efficient memory management using smart pointers. Parallel reader for very fast parsing on multi-core CPU's. Additionally, there's a simple IFC viewer application, using Qt and OpenSceneGraph. It can be used as starting point for all kinds of applications around the open building model standard IFC.
