OCAuxiliaryTools VS OpenCorePkg

I did the upgrade using a mix of the classic Dortania guide + Open Core Auxiliary Tools (OCAT) which is super useful to be honest.

Use this. It checks your config. Updates kext and OC. https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools

Your config.plist don't match with your OC version. Use OpenCoreAuxiliaryTool or ProperTree to update oc and plist.

Side note: I only started to use OCAuxiliaryTools today to make things easier. ProperTree was getting a little hard to follow some time =)

Maybe give OCAT (https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools) a try. I did a 0.7.x to 0.8.7 a while back without incident as well as just bumping to 0.8.9 the other day.

I've followed this guide on (https://github.com/valnoxy/t440p-oc) and using OCAT(https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools) to edit config.plist and validate

OpenCore 0.9.7 is out. You can get it from Acidanthera.

IF you don't have opencore downloaded, don't download from their link, go directly to the dortania guide here and download version 0.9.2: https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/releases/

You also seem to be using an older version of OpenCore, so updating that would be a good idea if you get the GPU issue sorted.

This is due to OpenCore getting confused when trying to boot Windows and accidentally thinking it's booting OpenCore. This can be avoided by either move Windows to it's own drive or adding a custom drive path under BlessOverride. See Configuration.pdf (opens new window)for more details.
