Anyone know if python can be used to make a MATLAB simulink clone (dragging and dropping elements)? If not, do you have recommendations of other languages that can do this best to make a desktop app?
Thanks for the clarification. The search term you’re looking for is along the lines of “node graph ui”. ReactFlow is the one I know of, but that’s JS. If you need python, a quick search pointed me to NodeGraphQt. Looks like there’s also a number of other options listed on a previous post to this subreddit

Why although Pyqt and Pyside are very similar in terms of functionality, every known course is made for Pyqt which has commercial licence? I am really curious to know...
They're basically identical as far as I've seen through using PyQt5 then Pyside6. Either way, I'd recommend just using qtpy. Then if you need to switch for license reasons or whatever, it's as easy as installing the other lib and changing an env variable
