Anyone know if python can be used to make a MATLAB simulink clone (dragging and dropping elements)? If not, do you have recommendations of other languages that can do this best to make a desktop app?
Thanks for the clarification. The search term you’re looking for is along the lines of “node graph ui”. ReactFlow is the one I know of, but that’s JS. If you need python, a quick search pointed me to NodeGraphQt. Looks like there’s also a number of other options listed on a previous post to this subreddit

There's a Qt-friendly graph library that might be useful if you were thinking of taking the visual approach: NodeGraphQt. Looks pretty slick, too.
