Can NickelMenu be use to switch backlight on with physical key on Kobo Libra H2O ?

I'm trying to get the "Screenshots" option in my reader overflow menu. I've tried the following but they didn't work, based on my reading of the NickelMenu documentation. What am I doing wrong?

Download KoboRoot.tgz and copy it to KOBOeReader/.kobo (do not open KoboRoot.tgz - drop it zipped exactly as you downloaded it into the hidden /.kobo/ folder which sits in the root of your Kobo)
