DAHAKA’s Filter is a custom filter for Path of Exile, based on Neversink’s Filter. It helps to show rare or higher items, with different colors, sounds, icons, and beams. It hides useless or cluttering items. It is easy to customize and update on Filterblade.
  • Oh boy, thinking of starting this game and I know it is quite complicated.

A good filter is probably the thing you need the most in this game. 99.9% of players and their mothers use https://www.filterblade.xyz/. A filter changes how the items appear when they drop on the floor. Filterblade is linked to the trade site and it makes the most expensive items shine the most and even completely hides items that are worth nothing. You can choose how strict you want your filter to be. Early in the league running a semi-strict might be enough since almost everything is worth something, later it's better to go for something very-strict.
  • Filters, which and why.

The neversink filter which you can add at the poe homepage is good to get going. I used it for years. Since some years i build my own filters at https://www.filterblade.xyz/ I adapt the filter for my build: - hiding a lot of rares (armor bases, weapons, bad jewellery bases) - highlighting bases or socket/links/color combinations And adapt the filter later on depending on my progress: - like hiding currency fragments (alch, horizon) - hiding all rares

Try to get to T16 as soon as possible, check some farming guides and pick one that feels nice, get a lootfilter from https://www.filterblade.xyz/. The filter will tell you what's good based on colors. Unique item values you just have to learn pretty much. Awakened PoE helps with checking prices. Farming strat decides your atlas passives.

1- create a loot filter : https://www.filterblade.xyz/ : NeverSink SC > Semi-Strict will be good start. Change it later to strict > very strict (at very strict at t15-t16). If you are low on some currency like link socket, color socket, costumize your filter from web site.
  • This game desperately needs some kind of, at least, basic loot filter
    1 project | /r/diablo4 | 20 Jun 2023
That's very rudimentary, though, this is what a real filter looks like: https://www.filterblade.xyz/

Go to https://www.filterblade.xyz/ and add a loot filter. The game drops thousands of useless items as you level and play at the end game. You need a loot filter to get rid of bad items.

  • Should I be following character guides if it’s my first time playing?
    1 project | /r/pathofexile | 10 Jun 2023
Get a loot filter https://www.filterblade.xyz/ I recommend going at least strict because you need to fight the urge to loot everything.

  • What build would you play and why, if budget wasn’t a concern?

I don't really know "how", I just have 1 spreadsheet to track APIs on poe ninja (https://github.com/5k-mirrors/misc-poe-tools/blob/master/doc/poe-ninja-api.md you can get it here) to see what's worth farming or not, Tujen has been my go-to for the bulk of currency since 3.15, you can just extract SO MUCH currency from him. Also the way I was going about it until the Vivid Vultures sorta messed up the market, I had the side node for Einhar to focus farm Fenumals Plagued Arachnids and Craicics Chimerals, I always ran an absolute maximum of 20 maps a day and usually would have about 4-6 Fenumals (copy beast sextant) and about 10-15 logbooks. I'd split sun books and 3 mod/Vorana scythe books (using a blessed orb on them beforehand to get the numbers right) and, the next day, run those books/sell overflow beasts (or Craicics if I had any) and haggle with Tujen with approx 250 coins or so (while exchanging discounted frags/coins on Dannig).
  • Question about blighted and elder/shaper maps in poe.ninja.

Thanks. I see that's not listed here. Is there an updated list somewhere? I tried these, but they didn't work:
  • Does anyone know of a place that hosts a site that polls poe.ninja regularly and permits a download as a csv?
    3 projects | /r/pathofexiledev | 10 Jul 2021
Thanks for responding. I actually did find this resource that lets me pull prices and export them to a csv for myself. Now I'm working on doing the other things I want with it.
