Apparently Ad Blockers are not allowed on Youtube. Is this a new thing they've implemented?
For the note there is NeuralBlock, which is an experimental AI that uses SponsorBlock's dataset.

There is a neural network version in dev: https://github.com/andrewzlee/NeuralBlock

[Other] Who... who tf looks at a video that is 13 years old and marks the opening and ending parts? God bless you for such work. Every video is marked man this is great!
There is already a neural network that uses Sponsorblock as training data!

Blocking Unwanted YouTube Video Segments
Check out https://ai.neuralblock.app/
All the data is public, so anyone can try!
I still think this will remain human-made for the foreseeable future, as an AI will probably never be able to make the millisecond-precise segments that it currenty has
-
Suggestion: An AI could read the auto generated captions and determine when there is a interaction reminder/intro etc and automatically submit it.
It is already being done (for sponsor) https://github.com/andrewzlee/NeuralBlock , but automatically submitting it would be a bad idea ( risk of error and the timings aren't very good).

Nyxt: The Hacker's Browser
This probably wouldn't be possible due to browser sandboxing.
You could however, use a tool like External Application Button [0] in order to send the URL of the page to a script/program, which in turn can make the body of the page parsable by downloading the URL it gets, automating some action on it. I use it pretty often to automate downloads with yt-dlp or opening a picture directly in GIMP from the browser, but since you're invoking a bash/python/whatever script, the possibilities are basically endless.

Like above reply. But you can use this addon https://github.com/andy-portmen/external-application-button/ to connect browser with other programs like yt-dlp, mpv, sandbox, streamlink(to watch twitch without ads), aria2c etc

Can someone create a browser extension of ytdl(-p)?
I'm using "External Application Button", not just for ytdl. You can put arguments, i'm recommending using -o for defining default folder too. Github link
