Sound Question for C++ or C#
If LGPL2.1 is acceptable, Nes_Snd_Emu would be an option to look at. (actually looks like that's a copy of Blargg's Nes_Snd_Emu, maybe modified; I didn't check).

Idea for c++ programmers:
I don't have the c++ skills to do it myself but something that I would really like to see is is SNES or NES emulator that gives us the ability to run game game sprites through img2img (preferably via the AUTOMATIC1111 API) with a custom prompt. The Mesen NES emulator already supports custom HD packs and I that think that its HD Pack Builder would be a great starting point for this idea. Discuss.
