The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

[MEME] Made this while optimizing a commissionee's avatar
Yes! like this tool did https://github.com/Naraenda/NarasUnityTools

Can we get a revision of the PerformanceRanking System?
I see what you mean and do agree for the most part but I disagree in a way this at least for me and others it encourages creative thinking for optimization while keeping nice functions for me it got me to look into this https://github.com/Naraenda/NarasUnityTools So I could have my hair and ears still move a bit without pushing my avatar over "Good" Or even further with Quest limits, a friend of mine started doing this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rggL1eq8D2Q Using 3.0 to animate hair etc to fake dynamic bones for Quest and PC

Hi! I optimize avatars for people without losing their dynamic bones!
My friend showed me this tool for unity that will simulate dynamic bones by doing constraints (?) and it has been helpful. I use it for 3.0, not sure if you can use it for 2.0

Optimize them. Now.
I know the dev team previewed VRAM usage as a new avatar stat (called "texture memory" or something like that) in one of the new UI screenshots. Not exactly "render time" but seeing VRAM usage and being able to filter based on that would be amazing. Often it's just a minority of people who use ~500MB-1GB of VRAM and don't even know it, because crunched textures expand to full size in VRAM, so their download size is still reasonable, and no obvious stat tells them this is happening. They could get the tool to look in Unity, but most people never would. And it's not their fault at all, most people don't even know about this stuff existing: https://github.com/Thryrallo/VRCAvatarTools

[UNITY HELP] Avatar Visemes locally not working
If you only checked with a mirror try a camera as well, for some reason there have been very strange bugs that cause certain animations to look different in mirrors only. Unfortunately it probably does mean a Write Defaults off state snuck into one of your animator controllers. Fortunately there is a tool that can detect if any of your states is not uniform with WD all on or all off now: https://github.com/Thryrallo/VRCAvatarTools

Just made some lingerie for a Vrchat model! Thoughts? (wireframe at end)
You can use thry's avatar tools to calculate your avatar's VRAM usage
- This is probably a bad time to show these off, but I have learned how to make Bionicle avatars!

poiomi go boom
Audio is pretty easy-- uncompressed PCM WAV will give you a good idea. Textures, however, are complicated. Thry's Avatar Tools will give you a decent estimate.

Performance Curiosity
There is a community made tool to easily check your VRAM usage on your avatar here: https://github.com/Thryrallo/VRCAvatarTools

It's the best kind of feels
I'll add this https://github.com/Thryrallo/VRCAvatarTools
- Tool by Thry to calculate VRAM usage and displaying what textures/meshes use how much. Tool still in development.
