Designed initially to erase titlerights encryption from nsp files and make multicontent nsp/xci files, nowadays is a multicontent tool specialized in batch processing and file information, someone called it a Switch's knife and he may be right. Anyone knows a safe website to get nintendo switch games?
I just use torrents, then verify the files with NSC_Builder. It'll cross check files with official store releases and tell you if it's safe / anything has been modified.

You can use this tool https://github.com/julesontheroad/NSC_BUILDER to merge base game roms with their updates and DLC. It's what I did and works perfectly.

Shouldn’t be a problem. I would use NSC Builder, which you can find Here. Just run either the bat or exe and follow the instructions and you should be good to go. You’re gonna wanna choose the multi pack mode since you’ve got multiple files. You can find the combined file in the Output folder of the NSC directory after you extract it. Lemme know if you run into any issues

Can you load patch/DLC NSP files directly instead of installing them?
Similarly, I use NSCB to merge DLC and updates into the base game. It's saved me a bit of space too.

can't convert from xci to nsp on nxdumptool
Dump it to XCI, pass the XCI file to your PC and use this to convert it to NSP file.

Can you turn NCA to NSP? If so how?
NSP mostly contains multiple NCA files, so if you know which NCA you need, you might be able to pack those files into an NSP I found this tool to pack NCA to NSP but haven't personally tested it yet https://github.com/CVFireDragon/nspBuild. maybe https://github.com/julesontheroad/NSC_BUILDER/ has that feature?
