Good sims for building bots?
I'm trying to write some bots (currently in Python but I'm flexible on this point) that, to boil it down, can query gamestate information (what cards are in what zones, how many cards does my opponent have left in deck, what cards are in my hand, etc) and send commands to a Yugioh simulator. The closest thing to my usecase that I have found is this, a C++ local server implementation that I can get up and running, but can't connect to (and digging through the implemented bots, it seems like a nightmare of undocumented C++ network protocol that would take me at minimum weeks to unravel in order to connect to it). Has anyone tried something like this before? Did anyone find a sim that has a convenient API for bots, particularly ones written in Python? Thanks in advance

YGO Omega custom AI deck
You cannot "just" give the ai a deck, the reason it is restricted is because the ai must be programmed by hand to use every single card and card interaction. If you have some basic C# knowledge and a lot of spare time windbot is open source, just know that you have a long way ahead as every interaction must be made by hand .

Is there anyway that i can install a smarter bot?
go to https://github.com/ProjectIgnis/windbot and fork the project into your github account, or just download it if you don't want to create pull/merge request

Custom EDOpro AI bot.
You will need some knowledge of some admittedly basic C#. Clone this repo and build the project, then follow this guide. Do note, you have to program by hand every card interaction in the bot

Windbot Deck Engines
We would love to try new deck engines and eventually contribute our own. Is there anybody here with experience contributing to the github?
- Konami needs to work on a Cpu Duelist who can use any Deck you make him.

Best Ai in a simulator?
I don't think they are that different. YGO Omega and EDOPro uses windbot as base for the bots. Just pick which one have the bots you like https://github.com/duelists-unite/windbot https://github.com/ProjectIgnis/windbot. EDOPro still update their executer for last couple of months compared to YGO Omega that uses 2 years old executor.
